GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Sub: Two Days Intensive Training Program for PGD-GST (Batch II)  Students at GIFT Campus, Thiruvananthapuram– Dates March 14 & 15, 2020 – Instructions for participants – Reg.

1. As concluding part of the  120 hours training Programme of PGD-GST Course, a Two Days Intensive Training Programme is organized on March 14 & 15, 2020 (second Saturday & Sunday) at GIFT Campus, Chavadimukku, Sreekariyam, Thiruvananthapuram.
2. Participation for the Intensive Programme is compulsory. However, in case of unavoidable circumstance students may mail their request for non-participation  before 3-3-2020.
3. Accommodation for the participants are arranged from March 13, 2020, 7.00 pm to March 15, 7.00 pm.at Maria Rani Centre situated near GIFT Campus on sharing basis (three persons in one room). Separate accommodations are provided for female participants at Maria Rani Centre.  Food for two days (14& 15 March 2019) (Break-fast, lunch, Dinner, tea & refreshments) will be provided at GIFT campus to students. The entire expenses for the two days programme (other than 50% of the accommodation expense for two days) of the participants will be met by GIFT. Those who opt for accommodation is requested to remit Rs.400 online (for two days) (Refer para-7). The participants have to meet their Travel expenses to reach GIFT and return.
4. Those who have not remitted the balance tuition fees are requested to remit (through online) the amount before attending the residential programme. Due to the implementation of Kerala Flood Cess (KFC) from 1 August 2019 an amount of Rs. 170 or Rs.136 or Rs.68 as the case may be will be collected on the first day of the programme from the participants concerned only.
5. The Itinerary for the training Programme is as follows:

 

March 13, 2020

• Arrival of some participants (from faraway places) to GIFT campus. Accommodation at Maria Rani Centre will start from 7.00 pm  to 10.15 pm   (students are instructed to  have  their dinner before arrival since no dinner is provided  on March 13, 2020) 

March 14, 2020

• Arrival of participants at GIFT campus and accommodation at Maria Rani Centre starts from 5.am onwards
• To reach at GIFT campus from Maria Rani  at 8.15 am
• Break-fast - 8.15 am at GIFT campus
• Training sessions 9.15 am to 1.00 pm
• Morning tea 11.30 am
• Lunch – 1.00 pm
• Training session 1.00 pm to 7.00 pm
• Group Photo & Evening tea at 4.00 pm
• Students’ interaction & get-together – 6.00 pm to 8.00pm 
• Dinner at 8.00 pm
• Return to Maria Rani – 9.15 pm 

March 15, 2020

• To reach at GIFT campus from Maria Rani 8.15 am
• Break-fast - 8.15 am
• Training sessions 9.15 am to 1.00 pm
• Morning tea 11.30 am
• Lunch – 1.00 pm
• Training session 1.pm to 3.00.pm
• Training Certificate distribution – 3.00 pm
• Evening tea at 4.pm
• Concluding session at 4.30 pm
• To Mari Rani at 5.pm for check out & Return to Home

[Participants are requested to  follow the timing strictly as per the schedule]

6. The session-wise details of the training will be provided on the first day of the training programme. The students are advised to bring Note books, all Study materials and laptops (optional).
7. Students are instructed to register online before 3 March 2020. Those who opt for accommodation are requested to remit online Rs.400 along with the submission of the registration.
